Activity 1 (done in class): 

For the first activity, a person is blindfolded and placed in the center of the room. Then we had several others stand at different corners of the room, different distances from one another. Then, the people standing periodically throughout the room were told to make noise. The one standing in the center of the classroom's job was to figure out where each noise was coming from. This tests localization of sound which allows a person to be able to identify the origin of a sound in distance and direction.

Activity 2 (done at home): 

The second activity is to test your ability to hear different pitches. Not all ages have the ability to hear the same pitches, so we recommend you try this with an adult or someone of a different age and compare you results! Here is the link to the video:
